Testing and self-isolation guidelines

For our school community, the recommendations regarding testing and self-isolation are:

  • If your daughter or anyone in your household is directed by Queensland Health to have a COVID-19 test, then each person who has undertaken a test should isolate until the result of the test is known.
  • If your daughter is unwell with COVID-19 symptoms, the Queensland Health directive is to see your GP and be tested for COVID-19 and isolate until the results of the test are known. More information can be found on the Queensland Health website.
  • If a member of your household is unwell with COVID-19 symptoms, they should go to the GP to be tested for COVID-19 and isolate until the test result is known. While current Queensland Health advice is that, in this case, other members of the household do not need to self-isolate unless the local public health unit tells them to do so, it is our School's recommendation that your daughter remains at home until the test result is returned.

We thank each family for their commitment to the ongoing health and wellbeing of our students, staff and wider community.
