All Hallows’ School students are supported through a strong wellbeing, pastoral and academic care system. They are inspired to learn and actively engage in reflective, creative and critical thinking. Outside of the classroom, students take part in an unparalleled range of social justice, culture and sporting activities, allowing them to discover their interests and build self-confidence.
An All Hallows’ girl is encouraged to be a self-leader and a supporter of every All Hallows’ girl. With a vibrant student community, each girl feels individually known and supported, as she develops a sense of connectedness with her All Hallows’ ‘Sisters’.
Nurturing and challenging our students
In the classroom, our highly accomplished and dedicated teaching staff inspire students by providing a learning environment that nurtures and challenges each student to discover their potential and purpose. The school’s well-established Teaching for Learning Framework ensures students receive outstanding academic care through positive relationships that support engagement, interpersonal connection, appropriate challenge and achievement. Teachers also actively engage in responsive practices which enables them to respond to evidence of learning and adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of the learner.
Opportunities outside of the classroom
Our extensive cocurricular program delivers an unparalleled range of social justice, culture and sporting activities, allowing our students to discover their interests and build self-confidence. Programs cater for participation across all ability levels where students can join in, challenge themselves, set personal goals and explore their potential.
Mercy Action
Our vibrant student community is encouraged to grow its social conscience through our Mercy Action program, which provides opportunities to make a positive difference both within and beyond our community. This inspires our students to step forward confidently, knowing they can make a difference.
Community
All Hallows’ recognises the foundational role parents and caregivers play as educators. The school works with families to develop a true partnership that can support each girl to be the best she can be, emerging with the competence, confidence, compassion and conviction for which All Hallows’ women are renowned.
Past Pupils’ Association
All Hallows’ is blessed to have a vibrant and engaged All Hallows’ School Past Pupils’ Association (AHSPPA) which is made up of generations of graduates.
Established in 1925, the AHSPPA provides ongoing enrichment, fellowship and an unwavering sense of belonging to the All Hallows’ School community while fostering a spirit of union and friendship among past students.
In addition to facilitating past pupils’ events and reunions throughout the year, including our Annual Mass and Morning Tea and the biennial AHSPPA International Women’s Day Breakfast, the AHSPPA provides opportunities for members to forge genuine friendships, re-connect, network with peers and continue their involvement in the life, activities, tradition and advancement of All Hallows’ School.
The AHSPPA also provide support and the opportunity to maintain connections to the School through attendance at various All Hallows’ School coordinated events.
