Six of our talented students have been recognised for their creativity and innovation in the Design and Technology Teachers’ Association of Queensland (DATTA QLD) Subject Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievement in Design and Technologies across the state.

DATTA QLD is an organisation dedicated to supporting educators and promoting excellence in design, engineering, fashion, and technologies. Students from seven educational regions across Queensland are selected as Regional Champions, with top achievers progressing to the final round to be considered for State Champion in their category.

This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of:

  • Harper A, Jo Jo H, and Tessa G (Year 11)
  • Majella C, Stella R, and Belle G (Year 12)

All six students were named Regional Champions for the Metro Region, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects their artistic talent, dedication, and problem-solving skills.

We are especially proud to share that Harper A was awarded State Champion in Fashion Skills for 2025. Her innovative approach to design and thoughtful response to complex design challenges set her apart, showcasing the power of fashion as a medium for expression and impact.

The outstanding achievements of these students highlight the strength of the Technology department at All Hallows' School and the dedication of our staff to foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking.

We are incredibly proud of our students and excited to see where their talents will take them next.
