All Hallows' School is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Scott Adamson, Shanee Conran, and Matt Lourigan, who have authored the newly published Nelson QCE Physics series for senior students across Queensland.
The first volume, QCE Physics Units 1 & 2, was published in November 2024, followed by the second volume, QCE Physics Units 3 & 4, released in September this year. These updated syllabus texts are designed to support exam preparation and equip students with the tools they need for success. Each book features a wide variety of question types that encourage students to make connections across syllabus topics and units. By actively applying their knowledge to diverse contexts, students develop a deeper understanding of the key concepts and skills outlined in the 2025 Physics General Syllabus.
The textbooks reflect a clear alignment with curriculum requirements and aim to simplify complex scientific concepts into learning experiences that are both engaging and accessible. They also offer teachers insight into effective teaching practices that empower students to succeed.
These textbooks are valuable resources for students and teachers alike and a wonderful demonstration of the expertise and dedication found among the All Hallows' School teaching staff.
