Our Science Ambassador Program supports students with a passion for science to develop their leadership and communication skills and connects them with like-minded students across Queensland as well as academics and students from The University of Queensland’s Science Leaders Academy.
AHS Science Ambassadors are actively involved in promoting science within our community through various events such as Open Day demonstrations and AHS Science Week and have played an important role in promoting our new 2023 STEM club!
Science Ambassadors receive mentoring from AHS staff and past AHS Science Ambassadors. Our goal is to increase the responsibilities of Science Ambassadors with the hope of promoting the opportunities and excitement that come with science to the entire school.
This extends to our Past Pupil community Sisters in Stem.
